Hot Ghoul Summer Tips & Tricks

Decorating

If you’re throwing a Hot Ghoul Summer event, decorations are a must! Amazon has been my go-to for all things “Hot Ghoul Summer” decorations wise. For my in-person event, I wanted to have it outdoors (barring weather), so I opted to get an inflatable big screen. I always though these looked so fun for summer events! Of course, if you’re going to do something like an outdoor movie, you’ll need a few more things to make it work. You’ll need a projector (I recommend a Bluetooth enabled one to use with your phone) and if you need it for your house, a yard stake with outlets to plug up your inflatable and projector.

For an indoor OR outdoor event, great decorations will make your party the talk of the town! I love fun table cloths, dinnerware, table decorations, balloons, and setups for silly photoshoots. For an outdoor specific event, I’ve found some super fun yard stakes, paper lanterns (you could hang indoors too), and inflatable coolers.

Games

Games are always a great way to socialize. (Whether it’s a virtual event or in-person!) For virtual events, it’s best to find games with internet-based sites likehttps://jackbox.tv/. There are so many fun games to choose from, but make sure the people you’re playing with have another device to be able to play. For example, if you’re event is via zoom, it’s best if someone is using either a computer or tablet for the meeting and then their phone for the games. I’ve also found that there are virtual bingo sites that you could use to create your own games!www.bingomaker.com is one that I’ve looked into where you can easily customize and randomize the cards for people to use. When you first sign-up, you have 2 free credits that you can use and after that, you can pay for more.

For in-person events, I recommend Witch’s Pong. It’s like your regular, run-of-the-mill beer pong, but purchase mini cauldrons instead of the red cups and some plastic eyeballs instead of the ping pong balls.  I also came across a really cute spooky summer pinata on Amazon!

Food & Drinks

Nothing’s better than a good themed snack table and cocktails/mocktails! Here’s some fun ones to try out:
