Witch, Please:🌈The Spooky Rainbow We Deserve

It’s time to throw open the haunted closet doors and shine a ghost light on queer folx who’ve shaped the world of paranormal investigation, spiritualism, occult practices, and witchcraft. From psychic mediums to tarot-wielding authors, queer people have always been part of the occult—and it’s about damn time we celebrated that.

Whether you’re a baby witch, a seasoned necromancer with glitter on your altar, or just vibing with the ghosty queers on TikTok, this list can start you off on a journey to the spooky side of the rainbow.

(Note, this is NOT an exhaustive list, nor does it aim to be. It’s a sample of queer leaders in the paranormal community who have made and are making notable contributions, with an attempt to focus on women, trans, and non-binary creators—in no particular order.)

Follow these folx. Support their work. And cast spells in heels, boots, or barefoot in the moonlight. Haunt proudly, this world is ours too.
